Get your home heated with a first time central heating grant
If you live in a home that does not have a central heating system (excluding electric or gas warm air systems) we can arrange to have a central heating system installed in your property for the first time.
A central heating system can be installed in any home that has never had any central heating system before. We will install a boiler, connected to radiators throughout the entire property.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a first time central heating grant, you must be either a homeowner or a tenant in a privately rented home.
Your home must have either no heating at all or one of the following heating systems:
You must also be in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits or qualify under the Local Authority Flex scheme.
Home insulation matters
To ensure that the heat from your new heating system doesn’t escape straight through the walls or roof you must have a minimum of 150mm of loft insulation or if you have a room-in-roof it must be insulated.
Also, if you have cavity walls, these must also be insulated.
But don’t worry, if you need these, we will arrange for these to be completed before your new heating system is installed.
Save energy, save money
Significant savings can be made by installing central heating over other systems.
Remember, if you qualify, PT Energy Solutions could provide you with this insulation for free through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO3) scheme.
